Les pronoms relatifs
Il s'agit de : who, which, what, whom, whose, where, when.
remarque : l'ensemble vide sera noter O dans cette page, excusez-moi.
I) Le pronom
relatif est le sujet
A) L'antécédent est une personne
ex : L'homme qui
mendiait = The man who was begging
that
B) L'antécédent est une chose, un
animal, etc.
ex : le chat qui miaulait = the cat
which was mewing
that
attention : Le pronom relatif doit apparaître s'il est sujet uniquement.
II) Le pronom relatif
est COD
A) L'antécédent est une personne
ex : la fille qu'il a vu = the
girl whom he saw
that

B) L'antécédent est une chose, un animal, etc.
ex : la pomme qu'il a mangé =
the apple which be ate
that

III- Le pronom
relatif est complément de préposition
A) L'antécédent est une personne
ex : les personnes avec qui je
travaille = the people with whom I'm working
that I'm working with
O I'm working with
B) L'antécédent est une chose, un animal, etc.
ex : la table sur laquelle
j'écris = the table on which I'm writting
that I'm writting on
O I'm writting on
IV- Le pronom relatif
est "DONT"
A) le garçon dont le père est professeur = the boy
whose O father is a teacher
B) le garçon dont je parle = the
boy about whom I'm speaking
that I'm speaking about
O I'm speaking about
